Reserve Your Excursions Now!

Reserving your excursions in advance (up to 4 days before departure) means you can sit back and relax once you’re on board. Secure one of the limited places available and allow us to better plan our exclusive excursions. If you change your mind, you can cancel at any time before the cruise or on board up to the booking deadline.

You will also receive a discount on the excursion price if you book at least 3 excursions in advance*.

- 3 excursions = 10 % discount
- 4 excursions = 12 % discount
- 5 or more excursions = 15 % discount

Important: If you would like to take part in the included excursion (applies to Premium All-Inclusive cruises of 7 nights or more), please make sure to book it in advance. Only then can we guarantee you a place on the excursion.

Levels of Difficulty

EASY
An excursion for everyone. For the most part, you will be traveling by bus or other means of transport. There are only short, easy footpaths.

MODERATE
The excursion includes longer footpaths, some of which involve cobblestones or stairs. Pure city tours also fall into this category.

FUN
Longer city walks or easy hikes are part of the excursion. A certain basic level of fitness is required.

SPORTY
Whether hiking or cycling - these excursions require good physical condition, stamina and skill.

Information about the Excursion Program

  • All shore excursions can be reserved in advance free of charge (except Exclusive Tours, which are confirmed immediately upon reservation and non-refundable). Once you are on board, your reservation will become binding and will be confirmed and billed.
  • All excursions require a minimum number of participants (except Exclusive Tours), and some excursions also have a limited number of participants. If minimum numbers are not reached, the shore excursion will not take place and you won't be charged.
  • We have worked with reputable local agencies to put together a carefully curated programme of excursions for you.
  • We are responsible for arranging the excursions, however, the agencies are responsible for running them. As they are the organisers of the excursions, they are also your contractual partner. Therefore, A-ROSA acts in the name and for the account of third parties.
  • Our excursion agencies are Globus Tours GmbH, Churerstrasse 42, CH-8808 Pfäffikon/SZ as well as Douro Azul, Rua de Miragaia 103,4050-387 Porto, Portugal.
  • The programme is subject to change.
  • Headphones are available on excursions for a small fee. However, you’re also welcome to bring your own headphones.

In your own interest, we kindly ask you to be back on board at least 30 minutes before departure. Berthing times may change at short notice. Please pay attention to announcements and information in the daily program. Please collect your shore leave card from reception before leaving the ship and return it when you get back. This way we can ensure that all guests are back on board.

English excursions can be pre-booked online without obligation. A binding confirmation, booking and payment for excursions is made on board. For cruises of 7 nights or more, one excursion is included free of charge for our guests, but to take part in the free excursion it must still be reserved online in advance. We arrange the excursions, but they are implemented by the local agencies, which are the excursion organisers, and thus also your contractual partners. Please note that all excursions are subject to a minimum number of participants (except Exclusive Tours), and some excursions also have a limited number of participants.
