The new E-Motion Ship on the Rhine sets completely new standards and is a pioneer on all levels. Since her beginning, A-ROSA SENA has been boarded by guests from non-German speaking countries. Therefore, she is a popular ship for people who like to mix and mingle with travellers from all corners of the world.
Innovative cruising
A-ROSA SENA is ideal for people who love cruising and also want to travel more responsibly. The E-Motion Ship has a hybrid propulsion system with diesel and electric engines and a battery storage. During the cruise, the propulsion system operates in the optimum power range and excess energy is stored in the battery. Thanks to this energy, A-ROSA SENA can dock in ports almost silently and without local emissions.
E-Motion Ship experience for the whole family
There is plenty of space in the 20 m2 standard balcony cabins and the big 28 m2 family cabins sleeping up to five people. The A-ROSA Kids Club has its own dedicated room on board. Many outdoor and dining areas invite guests to enjoy the passing scenery. Parents can take a dip in the 23 m2 pool and kids will love their separate children’s pool on deck. The spacious spa and wellness area offers nothing but relaxation. There are also a variety of leisure activities available on board.

The languages on board our international ships are English and German. Documents are available in English and our international crew is happy to answer any questions that guests may have.
The onboard currency is Euro. During the trip, use your cabin card as your own credit card. At the end of the journey you can pay your final account in cash, with EC card or with the following credit cards: MasterCard, VISA, American Express. When paying by credit card or EC/Maestro card, you will need your PIN code. Please make sure that you have your personal PIN code with you. The booking of shore excursions will be billed to your cabin account.

Prices for A-ROSA family cruises vary depending on the cabin category and season.
Children up to and including 15 years of age travel free of charge when accompanied by at least one (two in Cat. G) supervising adult on Deck 1. From Deck 2 children receive a 30 % discount. Furthermore, children up to 7 years of age accompanied by 2 supervising adults can use a sofa bed free of charge on the A-ROSA SENA in categories B - D. On the A-ROSA ALVA, A-ROSA ALEA & A-ROSA CLEA children accompanied by at least one supervising adult receive a 30 % discount. The children’s discount is only valid for the cruise itself. Limited availabilities on all cruises.

On A-ROSA AQUA, A-ROSA BRAVA, A-ROSA SENA, A-ROSA SILVA and A-ROSA FLORA, cabins with connecting doors are available, which can also be used as family cabins. The baby bed measures 1.30 m x 0.65 m and has a textile grid all round, which is attached to platinum-coated bars. On board the A-ROSA ALVA, A-ROSA ALEA and A-ROSA CLEA, the addition of a baby bed is only possible in the suites.
On A-ROSA FLORA there are two family cabins on deck 1, which can be occupied by a maximum of 2 adults and 2 children, namely cabin numbers 129 and 129.
On A-ROSA SENA there are 12 family cabins on deck 1, which can be occupied by a maximum of 2 adults and 3 children, the cabin numbers are ranging from 101 to 112.

A-ROSA SENA is sailing on the Northern Rhine. All cruises start and end in Cologne. On the 7-night itinerary, guests will visit the metropolises of Amsterdam, Rotterdam, and Antwerp. On the 5-night cruises, the ship calls at Utrecht as well as Amsterdam and Rotterdam.

On A-ROSA AQUA, A-ROSA VIVA and A-ROSA BRAVA there is a heated whirlpool in the spa area on Deck 3. On all other A-ROSA ships you will find a heated swimming pool on the sun deck. On A-ROSA SENA there is both a whirlpool in the SPA-ROSA and a swimming pool with its own kids’ pool on the sun deck. Bath towels are provided in your cabin.
